The Creature

The Eclipse Fun Station is a project developed for the NASA SPACE APP HACKATHON 2023. It is based on the challenge "Eclipses: Perspective is Everything" This challenge requested participants to create an activity, game, or story explaining the mechanics of an eclipse.

For this project we created a memory game with the different types of eclipses and we included an additional page so people can read about how eclipses occur and more. The project was developed with HTML, CSS and Javascript and tries to offer a simple but fun online activity page for kids and adults to learn about eclipses.

The Creator

My name is Monisa Felson. I am a 36-year-old aspiring developer attending Penn State University. I decided to learn how to code back in 2021 and since then I have been working on my craft and looking for opportunities to showcase what I have learned so far. I am very enthusiastic when it comes to learn to code, and I hope to be an inspiration for all the many adults who dream to make a career switch as well as learn to code later in life. I also hope to help Latin women like me gain more perspective of the journey to build a career in tech.
